Born on 7th Februaury, 1965, Chris is a world renowned comedian and actor. In the early 90s Chris performed a prominent role as a cast in Saturday Night Live. He did many other major roles in movies like Grown Ups (parts 1 and 2), Head of State, Down To Earth and Madagascar series. He also appeared in HBO’s comedy specials. Chris narrated, developed, executive produced and wrote the famous American series “Everybody Hates Chris”. In 2005, Chris was the host of 77th Oscars Award ceremony. Again in 2016 did Chris return to host the 88th Oscars.
Alongside Adam Sandler, David Spade, Rob Schneider and Chris Farley, Chris was cast in the American TV series “Saturday Night Live”, premiered on NBC. His performance in the SNL gave Chris global fame. In 1993 Chris left Saturday Night Live and joined the comic TV series “In Living Color”. Chris’ debut HBO comedy special was “Big Ass Jokes” in 1994. Chris’s landmark in the industry was “Bring The Pain”- the second HBO special. The second special earned Chris two Emmy Awards and major critical acclamation. He was nominated for yet another Emmy Award for hosting Politically Incorrect- a 1996 political talk show.
Chris made two more HBO comedy specials namely Never Scared and Bigger & Blacker in 2004 and 1999 respectively. Time magazine referred to Chris as “the funniest man in America”. He interviewed various politicians and celebrities while being the host of The Chris Rock Show.
Chris released his debut music video for the track “Your Mother’s Got a Big Head” from Born Suspect. Chris appeared in Hump de Bump- a music video released by the rock band RHCP (Red Hot Chili Peppers). He also appeared in Smooth Operator- Big Daddy Kane’s music video.
