Andrew was born on February 20, 1967 in Wilmington, Delaware. Andrew’s sister Elizabeth is an actress. Widely renowned for his portrayal of Billy Campbell in the famous television series Melrose Place, Andrew co-founded the CafeMom, a social networking website. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the non profit organization Do Something (also co-founded by him).

Andrew Shue married the famous floral designer Jennifer Hageney in 1994. After a long relationship, the couple seperated in 2008. The couple was meanwhile gifted with three sons Nate, Aidan and Wyatt. In April 2009 Andrew ran into his former The Today Show co-anchor Amy Robach at a party. Their engagement was announced publicly in the September of 2009. The couple got married on 6th February 2010 (on Amy’s 37th birthday) at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. Amy also included her two daughters Analise(2006) and Ava (2003) in their marraige.
While spending a part of his life in Zimbabwe, Andrew played soccer for the well known Bulawayo Highlanders. The Highlanders were victorious in both the CBZ Cup and Zimbabwe Premiere Soccer League. In the September of 1993 Andrew played single game for Continental Indoor Soccer League’s Los Angeles United. Subsequently in 1994 Shue played for Anaheim Splash. Shue concurrently appeared on Melrose Place and also played soccer for Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Galaxy in 1996. Though Andrew recorded one assist in five games in his ’96 season, he spent his ’97 season as an injured reserve.
